Hey friends 👋
What a busy week! As usual, I've been working on different things. Thankfully, being aware of my energy and working around it helped a lot. Let's dive in.

Mockup Updates
As you know by now, I'm constantly working on new updates for Mockup, and this week was no exception. While testing the new features, I stumbled upon a few minor bugs that had slipped through the cracks. Anyway, these bugs were nothing serious, so I planned to ship the fix with the next update.
...Until we received a support email mentioning a critical issue on iPhone, which left the app unusable.
Because such a critical bug can't be delayed, I instantly checked, located the bug, and resolved it. Moreover, I fixed the other minor bugs and submitted a bug-fix update.
Energy Management
So the past week, I didn't only work on the bug-fix update.
I also spent some time working on the upcoming update for the fall, creating content, and researching for our next product, which is under wraps for now.
Additionally, on the non-professional side, I spent time with friends and family, at the gym, reading, and doing non-work-related activities.
But let's talk about work. How am I managing it?
It’s obvious that I'm pushing more, finding free slots of time here and there, and squeezing in extra time to get more done. But that's not enough.
The short answer: energy management.
Consequently, something I’ve noticed is that sometimes I have a clear mind and creative energy to plan and solve complicated problems.
Other times I just can't, despite my best effort.
Being aware of this and taking it to my advantage helped on so many levels. I'm dedicating my creative time to planning, thinking, and solving problems.
And when I feel lower on energy, I simply switch to implementing what I've already planned.
When I encounter struggles, I move on to put the next planned thing into practice. I don't pause and waste time trying to find solutions. I take notes, and later when my energy peaks again, I go back to resolve any challenges that arose. And that's really working well for me right now!
That's it for this week. How do you handle task management? Let me know in the comments.
